Will people be able to subscribe to the podcast by any means through the library?

No this is a listing portal not an app where people can listen or view the podcast. They will always go to apps like Spotify or YouTube for consuming your podcast.
What type of benefits can an independent podcaster expect over branded podcasts?

The platform provides visibility for all podcasts alike. We do realize that monetization is constant challenge and need for independent podcasters. This podcast list is the first step towards that. You will see more monetization opportunities for independent podcasters rolling out on this platform.
Will there be any internal community where we can interact with other podcasters?

That is in plan. In the future you can expect community events and meetups both local and pan-India level.
Will the library by any means promote the show? How long will it take to actually reap the benefits apart from the discoverability factor?

We do not promote podcasts. Although there will be opportunities like curated lists and featured podcasts rolling out soon. Additionally we will aid podcast fans to discover podcasts of their interest through our social media and emailers. We will also be doing Instagram lives and Stories with podcasters listed on this platform. So list your podcast and stay tuned!

How will the podcast's data be handled ?

We are building an open platform. No information you provide will be used for personal or illegal purposes. Read our Privacy Policy for more.
Are there any requirements or limitations for listing podcasts? Like content restrictions, minimum episode length?

No. We are only mindful about explicit or controversial content. You can read more about then in our Disclaimer section.
Will I be having any access or updates on how my podcast is performing in the library itself?

We are not capturing podcast analytics. So we wont be able to provide that information but fans can give hearts to your show. Do share your podcast listing page with your podcast audience.
For any changes with respect to the description, cover art or any details thereof, how will it be ensured that it will be updated? Will I have to specifically reach out for any changes?

Yes, currently you can reach out to us at connect@dfyp.in and we will do the changes for you.
Is there any way to get involved with the platform beyond just listing my podcast, like contributing content or getting to be a part of this?
